Chesapeake Cats & Dogs is currently seeking foster parents that will offer temporary shelter in their homes to animals in need. Animals may go into foster homes for neo-natal care, training and socialization, hospice care or simply a wait station until their forever homes are located. Being a foster parent is a wonderful and satisfying volunteer experience. I would encourage anyone who wants to be a foster parent to do so. Fostering an animal is very rewarding for both you and for the animal you help. You will be thankful that you got a chance to watch an animal blossom under your care.

We always need people to help bake for the bake sales we have with our adoption shows, and we always need extra help in distributing information and helping to showcase our very needy cats and dogs.
