Miss Kitty |
Miss Kitty recently wandered into
the garage of one of our board members. She has upgraded her status
and is now resting comfortably on the bed inside. She is a beautiful
and dainty girl with the cutest freckles on her nose. She is
extremely social and loving and waiting for a new beginning with a
permanent family. She is fine with dogs. She tolerates other cats
but would prefer to be the only queen in her castle. |

Ranger |
Ranger is an 8 yr old neutered male
Lab type who was given up by his owner for personal reasons. He is
housetrained, friendly and playful and he loves playing with my
toys!!!I He is ready for a new home. He was at Talbot City Humane
Society for 2 months before being placed in foster care home with
children. |

Shirley |
Shirley went to what she thought
was her permanent home last year. Sadly she is now back, due to the
allergies of her former owner. Shirley is a lovable and beautiful
girl, now hoping to find the real forever home she craves and
deserves. If possible, she would like to go with her adopted sister
Summer.

big personality. Her kitten has been adopted, & now is her chance to

unlimited purrs.

recently returned to us due to allergy problems of their previous
owner. They are doing well at the center while waiting for their new
forever home. The girls love to run and play with toys, and hope to
find a home together.

Penny |
Poor Penny is lonely and confused.
Due to health reasons, her senior human had to move out of her home,
and unfortunately Penny was not allowed to go along. She was left in
the empty condo for three weeks with only sporadic human contact.
Luckily, Penny is now at our adoption center adjusting to her
temporary surroundings and the many felines anxious to make her
acquaintance. She is doing well and anxious to continue her life
with a new loving family.

her soft, tortoiseshell fur stroked. She is gentle and affectionate
and ready to find a new home.
|

Ace |
This gorgeous boy has lots to say
when you go to visit him. He didn't want his picture taken if it
meant he needed to give up his massage and lap time! He loves
company and gives great hugs. He will be a wonderful family member
for some lucky person.
|

Buffy |
Buffy is a lovely young Maine Coon
mix with shiny soft long hair. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle
with people. She gets along with other cats, but would do very best
as the only princess getting all the love!
|

Brian |
Brian is one of four kittens that
were found abandoned on the side of the road. They clearly belonged
to someone, as they are extremely social and love to be held. They
are strong, playful and energetic. They will be ready for their new

| Roca |
|
Hi, my name
is Roca. What’s with the crazy ears you ask? Pretty cool aren’t
they?! I am told it is because one of my parents was probably
Basenji. I am 1˝ years old and oh, so sweet. A young gentleman
adopted me when I was a puppy. He can no longer care for me due to
unforeseen circumstances, so his friends generously offered to let
me stay with them. There are seven family members, including a baby,
PLUS a cat and two other dogs, so I think I had better find a home
before we all go crazy! I guess I mentioned that I was sweet. I also
love belly scratches. I am housebroken, spayed, micro-chipped and up
to date on vaccinations. I know basic commands and I have grown out
of my chew phase. I can give you a high-5 and walk off leash with
you. In fact, what is a leash? I really have not been on one, so not
sure how I would do with that. I love to go hiking! I whine when my
humans leave, but I don’t bother anything. I do have canine
companions right now though, so I am not sure how I will do on my
own. I would probably do fine as long as I am getting regular
exercise. The rescue group can also give you suggestions on how to
help me stay entertained when left alone. I was crate-trained at one
time, but I have not been in a crate for a long time. I WILL need
regular exercise, because I am very high energy. I currently have a fenced yard (tall, since I can jump very high) and I love to chase
balls and sticks. And did I mention that I love to hike! By the way,
if you are looking for a water dog…I am NOT your girl! Hiking
anyone? |

Delilah |
Delilah is a four month old
pinscher mix. She is full of life and energy. She is very smart and
doing well on her training. She is currently in a foster home with
kids, a cat and a bird -- and loves them all! When playtime is over,
she is a true lap dog. |

Hillary |
Hillary's story is a sad case of neglect. She started out as a
barn cat living in Belgium, and was brought to the US to be a pet for a
young girl. The parents never wanted Hillary. She ate when they
remembered to feed her and got her fresh water from a dripping faucet.
Fast forward 12 years.....now the girl is grown & gone, the parents are
divorced, and Hillary is homeless. Not one of the parents or 4 kids
cares what happens to Hillary. And this was not an underprivileged
family......they simply didn't care about the cat. She is starved for
attention but doesn't have a clue how to receive it. In her new foster
home she is learning how to trust people. She needs lots of love,
patience and attention to help her regain her social skills. One look
into her bright, beautiful green eyes and you will see a cat that
deserves a new and better chance at life. Can you give that to Hillary?

Jefferson |
|
Jefferson is a playful, sweet boy who for
some reason is the last of his litter to be adopted. He is
looking for his forever family, preferably, one who will let him
play with water. He loves to sit on the sink and watch it.
Jefferson gets along with other cats and loves to train people.
|

Pumpkin |
Pumpkin, an 18 month old female rottweiler, was found on
Halloween nearly starved to death. She was extremely weak &
undernourished and barely able to walk. She was reluctant to trust
people and was accustomed to living a rough, not so happy life.
Remarkably, she has successfully completed heart worm treatment, gained
almost 20 lbs, and is ready to enjoy living! She is healthy, energetic,
and is starting to trust her new environment. Pumpkin is good with other
dogs. She will be best suited in a patient home with a handler who can
devote time to bringing her confidence and trust back |

Max |
Max is a 4 year old retriever mix of sorts. He is gorgeous! He
acts like he has been abused, to the point of losing his spirit. He is
timid, and submissive…but still will come over to you for attention. He
is not the fearful type that worries us… He is the opposite. He craves
attention, but is worried that he might be hurt again. He really needs
to be in a nurturing home. He gets along great with other dogs. He
ignores the cats. Please consider him! UPDATE 10-1: Max is now in a
foster home with three other dogs and is loving life! He is still very
weary, but is learning every day that humans are ok to trust. He now
enjoys snuggling on the couch for tv time. He is making great progress.
What a sweet and loving dog. |
