Help Support CCAD Through Shopping at Food Lion
The Food Lion grocery stores have a Shop & Share program where a portion of every shopping purchase will be donated to your designated charity.  Chesapeake Cats and Dogs Inc. has been accepted into this program and now we need to get a minimum of 25 shoppers signed up to begin receiving quarterly checks from Food Lion.  Please call Phyllis Lee at 410-643-9351 or Joyce Barnes at the office number 410-643-9955 and give us your 12 digit MVP card number, your name and your daytime phone number.  You may leave a message at either number or you can email Phyllis at pblee2@verizon.net with the same information.  We will get your numbers registered.  This is a very easy way to help provide financial support to our rescue efforts.  Thank you very much.

Major
This beautiful boy is so happy to be out of a shelter!
We don't know why he ended up there, but he has spent way too much time in a cage. He appears to be a boxer/mastiff mix and he is a big boy. His foster says he loves to run, jumped in the creek last weekend, and likes to ride between them in the car. He is also good on leash and will benefit from an owner who can spend some time doing positive reward training !
Can you find a place in your heart and home for Major?

Pookie

Pookie's human lost his job and home, then had to make the devastating decision to find Pookie a new family. That's where we want to help. Pookie is in perfect health, and has been very loved and cared for. He is quite social and not afraid of strangers. And boy, is he handsome with that long black hair and those big green eyes! One of his ears has a wrinkle in it, making him even more unique and special! Pookie likes to be near the humans, and really enjoys chin scratches and head rubs. Can you help this sweet gentleman transition smoothly into a new forever home?
